We make independent documentaries, most of them about the most humble and marginal people in our society. We have made stories about important people, but the majority are peasants, gang members, indigenous people, and athletes of working class backgrounds. We have also followed presidential candidates trying to challenge the status quo, politicians with a capital P, and journalists who have given their lives for denouncing corrupt power. We seek to capture the essence of the place, the people and their circumstances. We immerse ourselves in the story during extended periods of time, so the camera and the team become a less intrusive presence, and we can get closer to telling a story from the heart.
